The Kristin Linklater Voice Foundation invites you to our next Collaborative Professional Development workshop:

“Free the Voice, Free the Person.”

Does freeing the voice actually free the person? Does the work extend beyond using the voice in public forums? Does it become part of our lives in a more comprehensive way? And if so, how?

We feel this is an important and timely question as we move forward as a community, exploring who we are and what this work truly offers. We hope our discussions inspire some reflective thinking/writing that can later be shared with the wider community of voice teachers.

Led by Françoise Walot, this panel discussion will explore how—and whether—voice work transforms not only the way we express ourselves in our  professional lives,  but also how we communicate in our everyday lives. Participants will then have an opportunity to share their own experiences with fellow DLTs, offering a broader view of the work and its impact on our students and colleagues.

This subject was explored by a few DLT’s during the Symposium Francoise organized at LAMDA this past June.

Dates and Times: 

Session 1 - October 31st 6pm BST / 2pm EDT / November 1st 3am JST / 5am AEDT

Session 2 (Repeat) - November 8th - 9am BST / 4am EDT / 6pm JST / 8pm AEDT
